Anyone who uses ‘irregardless’ should be kicked in the head.

Seriously.

That should not be an acceptable word.
It makes ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE AND IS RIDICULOUS.

    It's so stupid!
    It's because people get confused, I guess. But yeah, it totally negates itself to two the affixes.

    But about 25 years ago (apparently, I thought it was more recent) they started adding it to dictionaries and stuff, making it a 'real' word because it was so commonly used. It's just so … stupid! Haha.
