A few weeks ago, I realized that I had lost my license. I looked everywhere for it and alas, nothing turned up.

So I kept telling myself I’d have to spare the $10 and go get a new one, which I was planning to do last Wednesday. But I didn’t really feel like it, so I didn’t. Then I had mentally made plans to go this Wednesday.

But today, I was cleaning up my room a bit AND I FOUND IT.

…. in the envelope of the Christmas card that Bev gave me. It must have slipped in there when I stashed the card in my purse to bring home.

I almost threw away the envelope without realizing.

That starts the day off well. Today will be a good day. Maybe Carlos will even reply.
