Why?
You know what I think is really… lame? Tacky, even.
When people on MySpace make “thanks for adding me” banners that include photos of themselves. I mean, if it’s an artist or a band, then I can understand because in a sense you’re trying to sell yourself in order to make more fans and gain support.
However, the average joe does not need to include their own photo on a thanks for adding me banner. Or on a Merry Christmas or Happy New Year banner. Actually, they don’t need to include a photo of themselves on anything but the photo section of the page or in their display photo.
I do not want to go to band’s MySpace and see the comments trolled up by all these random people. It takes the comments a longer time to load and it’s just damn irritating.
