People are lame.

Okay, so.

I totally understand if someone has a complaint about something. I mean, we all have different standards and sometimes there’s been an error and there’s something to fix. I totally get that. I generally don’t have a problem if people have a complaint as long as they deliver it in a calm, appropriate manner, listen to what I have to say in response and then decide further actions (or not) from there.

But this one lady is pissing the hell out of me.

She checked into one of our luxery cabins. Okay, great. So she’s in the store about six times last night. The second or third time we’re making a bunch of calls for her and letting her use the phone and whatnot. Her final time into the store (around 9:30 ~ 10:00 at night, after she’d been there all afternoon and evening) she comes in to complain about how dirty the cabin is. She also asked how often we switch their towels (this is important for later).

She said that there’s hair all over the washroom and that she spilt some juice, and when she went to clean it up the floor was black. I apologized and said that that wasn’t something that normally happens and that we’d be more than happy to send our cleaning staff up to her cabin to clean it for her.

She said no because she had already taken care of it (I guess with some magical cleaning supplies, because we don’t have many inside the cabins). But okay, that’s fair enough. I told her we’d tell the cleaning staff and apologized again.

So, this morning she came in and talked to my friend who was working. Apparently, she told her the same thing. She apologized as well and said that we’d be more than happy to send the cleaning crew up. The lady declined, but said she wanted clean towels because hers was so dirty. Okay so if they were that dirty, why didn’t you tell me the night before? Unless it was you who made them dirty.

Anyways, she got new towels and I guess went on her merry way. THEN she came back in again tonight, totally ignored me and talked to my co-worker friend who knew the story from last night, and the story from the morning. She told him that the towels were filthy and that when she went to use the washroom there was pee on the toilet (uh, what? You’ve been there for a whole day and you just noticed it? It’s probably someone from your party).

He told her the exact same thing. We’d be happy to clean it. She said no. He didn’t know what she wanted, so he asked… he was like, listen we told you more than once now we’d clean it and you’ve said no. I don’t know what more you want.

Obviously she just wants some money off (because she did say, I’m paying xxamount a night it should be clean!) and the fact that she won’t let anyone in there to clean it more or less proves that there’s probably nothing wrong with it to begin with. If it was so dirty, wouldn’t you want the cleaning staff to freaking clean it? I mean honestly, unless she brought her own cleaning supplies I have no idea how she thinks she got it any cleaner. O_O

And we do have a cleaning staff and they do a good job. So like, what the hell?

I think she’s just trying to scam us. The worst part is, she looks like she’d be a really nice lady… but she’s apparently ridiclous.
