I’M KINDA LIVID
I’m pretty pissed off right now.
At two things.
Stupidity. And people stealing MY WHOLE FREAKING TRANSLATION OF AN ARTICLE.
Fuck you. I don’t translate articles for anyone to take them off ot S-T and post them. Let alone without even saying HEY, I DIDN’T TRANSLATE THIS. I GOT IT FROM HERE. I mean, a comment or blog entry, okay. That’s annoying, but that doesn’t make me this mad. Someone actually took A WHOLE ARTICLE THAT I FUCKING TRANSLATED. Not to mention they direct linked our image.
It’s on MySpace and I tried to send a message to them to be like, what the hell are you doing you stupid douchebag, but it won’t even let me. STUPID CHINESE MOBILE MYSPACE.
I didn’t know what to do. So I Yomi bummed them and called them a jackass. I know that’s immature, but it makes me feel so much better.
Why is the internet so full of stupid?
Okay so now that I got that off my chest, there’s something else that I need to address.
Someone wrote in to S-T, which we love. Because there’s tons of news and we like to be able to post everything we can. They said to check out their blog (and to credit them… as if we wouldn’t) because it was confirmed that Yoshiki and Julia Voth were engaged to be married.
Okay, um. What?
Before I go on, let me say that there were all these rumours about Yoshiki and Julia dating. I translated this article from a Japanese online paper about it for S-T. Both of them say they’re just friends.
I did some research because we’re not going to post things blindly. And this is what I learned.
Now, the “confirmation” is from photos of Julia wearing an engagement ring and a comment she wrote on this girl Nina’s MySpace.
This was the comment Julia wrote:

It’s pretty much just one person who’s being stupid and most Yoshiki and X JAPAN fans know perfectly well who that rumor mongering brainless idiot is.

As for the confirmation of the rumor, I’d assumed that the pic of her with the wedding ring was enough to consider it confirmed. If I’m wrong, I’ll issue a retraction, but I think we have more than enough evidence to call it an engagement. And no, I wasn’t the person who originally started the rumor. One of the JRR peeps told me about it when I first posted it AS A RUMOR, and I only posted it as confirmed with the new pics.
If that isn’t an engagement ring, I will retract it.
Even if it IS an engagement ring, who’s to say it’s from Yoshiki? Yes, they’ve been spotted together at various events, but I’m sure you can find photos of both of them with other people as well. Going to events together and the tabloids saying you’re dating, doesn’t mean it’s true. Especially when they’ve both said they’re only friends.
Can’t a guy and girl just be friends? It’s not really beyond the realms of belief. I mean, my best friend is a guy.
I strongly believe you can’t say anything is confirmed unless it comes directly from one of the two members of the couple. Until then, it’s nothing but a rumour.
And I mean, there were two pieces of ‘evidence’ right?
One, isn’t about any sort of engagement, and is about her movie. The second, is a photo which Yoshiki isn’t even in.
I also feel like I should add that I’m not a Yoshiki fan. So, them being engaged or not really makes no difference to me whatsoever.
Honestly, with neither of them having said it and it not coming from an actual, official source, I think it would be in your best interest to retract it. Keep it up as a rumour, saying something like, “maybe it’s a development?”. If it turns out to be false, you’ll look ridiculous for having it ‘confirmed’.

I think that’s the best for your site. You don’t want people to discredit you, but then if it is announced true, you’ll seem like you were on top of it all along. You know?
