IT’S OVER.
Does it make me a bad person if I say that I’m glad the Olympics are over?
I think that the idea of the Olympics is really great, and it’s nice to have countries from around the world celebrating and competing, but at the same time as soon as the Olypmics hit, I’m already tired of it. There’s too much about it, too much advertising and too many scandals.
I don’t like watching sports in general, so I get sick of seeing sports plastered on every TV station. Updates are always on the news and all over the internet…
It’s not that I mind if people talk about it or get excited about it, I just don’t want it shoved in my face all the time. And really, you don’t need like twenty channels all broadcasting the Olympics. That’s a little bit of overkill.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not against it and I don’t hate it… I just get so tired of it so fast. I’m glad Canada did what we did (even though we didn’t exactly steal the show) and I’m proud that they’ll be here in 2010 (well, out west) but I’m also glad that the 2008 summer Olypmics is all over.
Oh! Is it over? haha
I want to go Canada in 2010 or before that.
It is! They had the closing ceremonies today, I think.
You should~!
