When I was studying at university in Japan, I took a trip with my friend Rachel to Kyoto for a couple of days. Unfortunately, it was really cold and we both got sick. Not to mention I’ve since lost almost all my photos from that time due to numerous computer crashes.

However, in June 2009, I was able to go again with my brain twin, Eri, and Eri’s sister, Miho. We had a really great day, and go to see a lot of things. Many of the photos in this gallery were taken by Miho, who became the self appointed photographer that day. We also went and got all dressed up as Maiko (apprentice Geisha), which was pretty cool and something I had never done before.
