Thank you to everyone who’s been feeding Micaiah and Sothe!! Micaiah finally grew out of her test tube thing and into a totally adorable dragon. Sothe is almost there too (and, it actually worked out perfectly because Micaiah is like, way way way older than Sothe is).

I also adopted two more; Ike (the blue one) and Haar (the green and black one). So, if you have the time to feed them it would be much appreciated! You can still feed Micaiah too, because she has more growing up to do!

I think the thing I like most about the Valenth creatures, is that they don’t die. With Dragcave, if they don’t get enough clicks they die which in truth is kind of depressing. But for Valenth, they still live. And! They way they grow up is influenced by what you feed them. Which is pretty cool.

But I’m really happy Micaiah ended up being so adorable. I’ll be sad if Sothe is ugly… he has to be cute too so they fit nicely together.

. . . Yes, my FE obsession has reached new levels of sickness.

I also plan on playing it this weekend, because I haven’t all week (shocking, I know).

Okay, so you know how I kind of like this video game, Fire Emblem? (And by kind of like, it’s more along the lines of cannot get enough of and am becoming ridiculously obsessed with).

Well, the new one is being released in the UK ON NOVEMBER 14TH. I thought it wasn’t supposed to be until December but I was looking around at Amazon.co.uk to see if it was up to pre-order and there it was. Available on the 14th so pre-order now if you want it.

I nearly peed myself wth excitement (okay, not quite) and clicked ‘pre-order’. Then it took me to sign in, which I did. Next was confirming my address, all good.

And then.

THEN.

IT TOLD ME THAT THEY CAN’T SEND IT TO WHERE I LIVE.

THEY CANNOT SEND IT TO CANADA.

WHAT. WHAT. WHAT. WHY? WHY!?

I don’t know much about shipping and the laws that go along with it, but this is VERY UNCOOL. I don’t know when it’s going to be released in North America. So, I have a few options. One, is wait and see if I can find it in an online shop on ebay. Or two, find someone who can buy it for me (or let me ship it to them) and then have it shipped to me.

Because you know, I must have it.

I also must get Fire Emblem, Sacred Stones. I bought it, but the person I bought it from emailed me about two weeks later and said they’re sorry and they’ll refund my money. Then they said if it ends up showing up at my door, please let them know so I can pay them again for it. O_O

Well, it never game so I’m Sacred Stones-less. So I will have to find another place to buy it from. Which is actually what I’m going on the hunt to do now.

I haven’t gotten overly far in Fire Emblem, the one with Lyn. I should really pick it up and play it some more. I have started Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn again though, for the second time through. Actually, I learned that apparently it doesn’t bring in your stats from the Gamecube game if you did it on Easy mode.

So, I’m playing Path of Radiance again on normal mode. I got up to chapter eight, beat chapter eight but then I didn’t get Ilyana and I’d have no other chance to get her. So I started again today, because I wanted to make sure that I recruited her this time. And I did! So I made it up to chapter twelve and decided it was time to take a break.

Once I beat this one, I’ll go back to Radiant Dawn and test it out… because I did start a new Radiant Dawn and it did ask if my characters wanted to be transferred, but I don’t think it worked. On easy mode in PoR, I had Sothe completely leveled up (he was level 20) and then when I restarted in normal mode on RD, he definitely did not have those stats and he was back to what he would normally start off with in RD. I wanted to play both again anyways, so I might as well do it this way.

AND. NOW THAT I’M AT CHAPTER TWELVE I GET TO GET SOTHE AGAIN.

Anyways, I’m still angry about the whole NO WE’RE NOT SHIPPING TO YOU stuff. Hopefully someone can help me out. Because I MUST. HAVE. IT.

For a while there I was really into the dragon eggs. But then I kept getting the same ones so I got frustrated, because I don’t want to have like seven of the same dragon. It’s just not fun.

So then I saw these guys on someone’s LJ profile, and I decided to try it out.
A similar idea to the dragon eggs but you actually have to choose something to feed them.

Yes. I am ridiculously lame and chose the purple one as Micaiah and the green one as Sothe because of Fire Emblem.

Soren was right all along.

It was Nasir.

That makes me kind of sad, but I see that he did it to help Ena, so I can kind of understand. I actually thought it was going to be Volke, for some reason… even though I know that Ike and Greil trust him. But you know, he just seems slimey like that.

But due to Volke, Ike got to her Greil’s story and it’s so heartbreaking. He killed his own wife because of the power of the medallion.

Man.
I love this story.

You know how a while ago I wrote about how I was so mad at Fire Emblem because Shinon killed Ike and then he killed Rolf… or that he would get killed by some other character (not Ike) before he got the chance to talk to Rolf?

Well today, I finally got over my anger and decided to try again, determined to beat the battle and win Shinon back to my side.

Ike and company set off carefully, Titania and Lethe staying behind to fight the dragon riders and the soliders who came up unexpectedly. Oscar, Kieran, Ike and Muarim headed forward, Ike carrying Rolf with him so that when it came time, Rolf could talk to Shinon. Rolf on his own is useless and would get killed if an enemy simply looked at him. (But he’s also just a kid). I had some others on my team who just stayed around in case I needed extra help, but I used those characters mainly, as well as Sothe (♡) because he’s a thief, and could open the chests when the coast was clear.

So we get to Shinon and Ike puts Rolf down. Rolf talks to Shinon and they have the same dialogue, because you know that even though he doesn’t want to really admit it, Shinon loves the little guy. Rolf refers to Shinon as ‘Uncle Shinon’ which is just too cute. After their dialogue is done, I had Oscar pick up Rolf so that Shinon didn’t kill him the next chance he got (they go for the weak characters, so that would make sense). Then I had Ike repeatedly attack Shinon until he was defeated.

He doesn’t die, but Ike is like dude take care of your cut. And Shinon is like you’re dumb, you didn’t kill me. But after the battle is all done, he ends up joining them again anyways.

Now I just have to get Gatrie back.

So under Ike’s command everyone was like yay, we’re doing well. But now Soren is all suspicious of Nasir. O_O I really like Nasir, and I really don’t want to think that he’s going to do something to betray them… but you did see a segment wth The Black Knight talking about how he had a spy on our side. I’ve been trying to think of who it is… but I honestly don’t know. There are only a few characters who have blatant dies to Daein… so… we’ll have to see.

OH! But after that battle with Shinon, Haar came to base camp to talk to Jill!! I LOVE HAAR. Unfortunately he’s with Daein in this game. I hope he switches sides and comes to fight with Crimea. He’s just so cool ~_~

Now I’m about to set off to a new battle… actually I had one go at it, but Ike died because I didn’t heal him when I should have, so I have to start that one again anyways. Wasn’t a big deal, because I wasn’t very far in. But it looks like it’s going to be a long one…

Okay. Wait before I get into this I have to say I have NO idea why the thumbnails are of everyone’s stomachs and crotches. I did not make them.

I try not to get too worked up and into this game, but I am beyond frustrated right now. I decided to pick up Path of Radiance to see if I could move forward a bit because I like it, I love Ike and I want to know what happens (even though I know what happens I want to know how it happens).

But one of the characters is really pissing me off and it makes me aggrivated because I really liked him in Radiant Dawn.

So here’s what happened (with photos so you can tell who’s who, as if it were real life but unfortunately I’m far more lame than that and you will love me for it). If you’re playing the game or don’t want any spoilers whatsoever, I suggest not reading further.

Okay, so meet Greil. He leads this band of mercenaries called … Greil Mercenaries.

Greil is the father of Mist and Ike. Ike is awesome and I adore him (as I’ve stated about ten million times) and Mist… is useless so I never use her. She might not be useless if you invested some time into her and leveled her up, but I can’t be bothered.

To make a long story short, Greil is killed by the Black Knight right in front of Ike which was so sad (and yes, because I cry at everything I definitely cried).

Ike wasn’t strong enough to fight the Black Knight at that time, so he didn’t but you know he vows to get revenge. The story isn’t about that, but it’s on the back burner. Mist doesn’t want to leave her brother despite the danger he goes through because she doesn’t want to lose him like she did her father. SEE HOW TOUCHING THIS STORY IS?

So, yes. Ike takes over the mercenaries because of his father’s untimely death. He’s not really prepared to do so, but he does. Shinon and Gatrie decide to be little jerks and leave because they don’t want to be under Ike’s command.

I was ridiculously pissed off when this happened. No really, you have no idea how angry I was. That was one of the problems with playing Radiant Dawn first. I got so attached to these characters and then went back and found out more of their back story. I guess I knew Shinon was selfish and retarded but I didn’t think he’d abandon the mercenaries.

So in this part of the game I was playing today, we’re fighting these soliders from Daein. Ike’s in command and it turns out Shinon is on Daein’s side. WHAT THE HELL. That made me angry, but it made me even more angry when I had to fight him. I don’t want Ike to kill Shinon and I do not want Shinon to kill Ike. Then I read online that if Rolf talks to Shinon, and then Ike fights him he’ll join you again.

Rolf is this little boy (totally cute) who’s brothers with two of the other mercenaries, Oscar and Boyd.

He’s an archer. So Shinon was teaching him a few things. So I had him talk to Shinon and then for some reason I was stupid, because Shinon had said that teacher and pupil will fight, so I made Rolf fight Shinon and the bastard KILLS HIM. HE KILLED A LITTLE KID. WHAT THE HELL!? Especially after Ike and Oscar spared his life to let little Rolf talk to him.

I got so aggrivated that I had to stop playing. I started and stopped about ten times so that I didn’t lose anyone. One of the times the Holy Guards ended up killing Shinon before Rolf even got a chance to talk to him! IT WAS UTTERLY RIDICULOUS.

I mean it wasn’t as bad as in Radiant Dawn when Ike and Sothe had to fight each other (I NEARLY DIED) but it was pretty bad.

And now you can see that I get far too emotionally involved with characters in games and stories. Hahaha.
It’s really a great story thought. ~_~

My copy of Fire Emblem:Rekka no Ken came yesterday, and while I’m not done with Path of Radiance (it’s hard to pick up and keep going because I know what happens to Sothe and Ike now, and although I want to find out what happens in the story, I absolutely adore Ike and Sothe) I thought that I might as well start playing Rekka no Ken.

I play it on my DS so I can take it to work, which is what I did today. (Oh yes, my obsession with Fire Emblem has really reached a new low). I haven’t gotten too far into the game (only ten chapters or so) but I’m really enjoying this one! I don’t really get the timeline in relation to the other two Fire Emblem games or if there’s a connection at all, but I like the characters. I really like Sain, he actually makes me laugh out loud, which sounds really lame coming from a game character, but he’s so corny. I love it.

I also really like Lyn. I don’t know why, but I think she’s super cool. And Rath. He doesn’t say much, but he looks awesome and so far he’s been pretty powerful.

I’m excited to see what happens in the story and where it goes. But I don’t think anything could outdo my ridiculous emotional attachment to the Radiant Dawn characters. I also must mention I plan to play it again (Radian Dawn) when I’m done with Path of Radiance. This time I want Pelleas to live. And I want to make sure I don’t lose anyone. Because I did the first time through, only about four characters but I’d like to find out what happens to them (and on my own, not by reading the Fire Emblem wiki… and yes, there is one).

I’m still waiting on another FE game to come, so I hope it arrives soon. They didn’t email me or anything about it, so I hope that means it all went through okay. And yes, I’ve become so into it that I can now offically refer to it as “FE”, haha. But really, it’s an awesome game and I can’t really explain how much I’ve enjoyed it.

You know, when you get so into something and then one day, it’s all over? And while you’re satisfied because you completed it, it’s also kind of depressing because that means it’s gone.

The ending was beautiful. Well, the whole thing was, really. I loved the characters and their stories. And I’m so glad that Sothe and Micaiah ended up together.

Basically, it had everything you could want in a good story.

And seriously, if you could make characters come to real life, I would so make Sothe come out of that game. Him and Ike.

I’ll make a proper post about the game at some point in the future, because I started one… but I’m just too *_* because of the end and the fact that I just spent a large amount of time playing something that I finally beat.

Luckily, if you play a second time through things change depending on the relationships you form and the characters you use. Apparently you also get another option when the time comes where you can save the King, so I’m definitely going to try that one.

But first, I’ll work on finishing number nine.
