RIDICULOUS.

I was just watching the news, and they told a story about a boy named Jordie who lives in one of the areas of the city that I do, isn’t being allowed to play hockey because some dumbshit complained.

I don’t really know anything about hockey, but this little boy is seven. Seven.

From the beginning of the season, he’s been playing for this team. The coach asked the board if it he was able to play for them (because of residency rules; you have to live in the area that you play for, or something) and at first was told no. Then, the told the coach yes and approved the official roster. WITH Jordie’s name on it.

Now some idiotic piece of crap asshole complained about Jordie playing on the team, because of the residency rule,  and  suddenly, he can’t.

He’s been through ten games with this team (I think that’s what they said) and obviously been going to practices. He seems to like playing for them, the coach wants him to play for them, and because of some lameass politics and someone who has nothing better to do with their time, but make ridiculous complaints, he’s not allowed?

I mean, he’s a seven year old kid! He’s not trying to get a spot on the NHL, he’s trying to have a fun time playing on this hockey team.

I would seriously love to scream at the asshat who lodged the complaint. I mean really, how low can you get? What do you gain from it? You upset a little boy, and of course his family. His teammates, and his coach. All for what? I can’t even begin to think of a possible reason that would make that moron’s actions make sense.

It’s people like that are wrong with the world. Them, and my neighbour.

It actually wouldn’t surprise me if it was my neighbour, but I don’t think she’s interested in hockey seeing as she has three little girls, and I couldn’t imagine she’d let them play a sport like that. (Or that they’d want to, they don’t really seem like sporty girls).

Another one.

Ah, caught another direct linker.

Replaced the two images they were direct linking with Yomi bum, and got Ernie to leave a message on their shoutbox asking them to please stop direct linking. It was a nice message, nothing rude.

So, they deleted the message and stopped direct linking the one image. I guess they haven’t realized that there’s one more. Oh well, it’s still a Yomi bum which is pretty amusing.

Does anyone else notice how the tags ‘internet’ and ’stupidity’ tend to go together quite often?

For the 100th time, seriously!?

So you know, when you reach a point in something (and it really could be anything, a relationship, a job, a project) where you start to think, why the hell should I even bother?

Where you know that despite your most valiant efforts, you’re going to get cut down regardless of what you do. Rejected, insulted or maybe never even noticed. But whatever form it comes in, when you start to realize it’s coming you start to wonder if it’s all actually worth it in the long run.

There are a few things I’m feeling like that about right now.

Unfortunately, I’m way too emotional and I take pretty much every single thing to heart. It’s not that I mean to, but I guess that I’m just built that way (which, I hate saying). I suppose I could always try to change; grow a thicker skin and what not, but it just never seems to work out like that.

There are so many things I wish I had the guts to say to you. Mainly because I’m tired of having regrets and if I said them, I’d have no reason to regret it later and no reason to think about all the what-if’s. But in my mind the outcome has already been constructed (which, of course doesn’t make it true but it’s hard to get around) and I’m sure we all know what that outcome would be.

I just really can’t handle going through something like that again. I’m not really built for that kind of drama and stress. I don’t particularly enjoy conflict.

People need to relax and stop acting like there’s something shoved up their ass all the time. I mean seriously, how do you get off on being a complete jerk to someone for no real reason other than you can’t find anything better to do with your time. I swear this world is made up of people like my neighbour and it feels like they’re all coming out of the woodwork at once.

It seems like they never go away.

Despite the fact that I’m not working in the office, if the campground line rings and I’m near the phone, I answer it.

I mean why not, right?

For some reason, a bunch of people decided to call the campground line today. One was a telemarketer who I was pretty rude to and thinking back on it I feel kind of bad, because she’s just doing her job. But this particular company calls at times, three times a week in the summer. They ask for my boss and when we say he’s not there, they try to sell whoever answered the phone their product (cell phone).

So she started her spiel, after I had told her he wasn’t there, and I cut her off and said, “Sorry but I’m not interested”. She asked why I wasn’t interested, did I have a cell phone already? And I said, “Honestly, you guys call us all the time in the summer. It’s really annoying and I’m just not interested”.

Then I hung up. It just gets so irritating.

Then I had another gem. Which made me go, Ahh, the good old campground days. It went a little something like this (doesn’t that make it seem like I’m going to break out into song?).

Me: Hello, [campground name]
Him: Hi… are you still open?
Me: No, unfortunately we’re not. We closed on October 15th.
Him: Oh I see.
Me: Yeah…
Him: Well, could I stay there for just one night?
Me: O_O We’re closed for the season.
Him: Yeah, but don’t really need anything. No water or sewer, just electric.
Me: … we’re closed for the season. The electric is shut off.
Him: I just need one night though.
Me: I’m sorry, but we’re all closed up.
Him: Well, do you know of anywhere else I could stay?
Me: *asks Nicole* You can try [campground name].
Him: Where are they?
Me: [Tells location]
Him: Do you have their number?
Me: … No I don’t. But their website is [address].
Him: Oh okay… thanks.

He wasn’t really rude to me or anything, but why would we open the campground for one night just because you want to come camping. Does that make sense? No, no it doesn’t. It doesn’t at all actually.

I had another lady call and ask when we closed. I told her October 15th, and she said Oh… Oh! That’s already passed! Haha. It was cute.

But seriously, people who a) keep asking if they can come when I’ve already told them we’re closed and b) ask me details about other campgrounds when I obviously do not work at those campgrounds annoy me.

In good news, I got my new DSL modem. It’s a newer model, smaller and really hot. I love it.

Oh. my. god.

Okay. Two things.

According to my mum we got the following message on my answering machine:

Do not wash your vehicle in the driveway.

Ten points if you can guess who it’s from. Another ten if you can kindly explain what the hell is shoved up her ass to make her act like such a stupid bitch. I mean really. My dad was washing his car on our property which has nothing to do with her. That’s like me calling and being all, DON’T MAKE BREAKFAST IN YOUR KITCHENNNNN. I mean seriously. Unfortunately my dad deleted the message, but next time she calls with something ridiculous we’re going to save it and report her for harrassment because this is just getting out of hand.

No one visiting us can park in the driveway for more than ten minutes without her throwing a fit. However, her customers can park in her driveway for as long as they want… or the people who were redoing her kitchen or whatever. They can park in the driveway all day. And that’s okay?

I can’t stand this women. I hope she gets a life soon or at the very least moves away.

And two, the internet is down. Watson peed on my modem. So I thought that my modem was busted; it wasn’t connectnig to the internet, but it was lighting up. I thought maybe he just ruined a small part of it, so it couldn’t connect.

I called the internet people and they made me do some tests and then looked into what was up with the DSL light on the modem not going on. He said the line was okay but then after some investigation they found out that the center where we get DSL from was down. He said give it half an hour and it should be back up.

Two hours later, I called back. The lady told me this time that they have to sent a technician out to fix it, so it won’t be up until tomorrow. Probably not until tomorrow night. I asked her if I could still connect via dial-up, and she said I could and gave me the phone number so I could get on.

So right now, I’m using dial-up and I totally forgot how painful it is. I only have ten hours of dial-up too.

It takes ten hours to even go to a site. :/

Hopefully by tomorrow everything will be up and running.

Beach!

Today Kat and I finally got a perfect summer day at the beach! We were hoping Melinda could come with us, but it didn’t work out. Hopefully we’ll have another nice weekend so we can all go together! It seems like the real summer weather is kicking in now. A bit delayed.

I didn’t have to work and Kat doesn’t work on weekends, so at about 10:00am this morning we met up at Silks, which is a diner that serves very decently priced and good tasting breakfast. We both had french toast and now that I think about it, I don’t think I’ve had anything else there.

I got there a bit early, so I was waiting for Kat and I had to wait in line anyways for a table because it was super busy. There was this lady who came in after me, and she was nice to me because she said “Make sure you stay in front of me so they don’t serve me first!”. Which was really nice, because she wasn’t trying to butt-in or anything. But then when she was talking to the waitress, she was so rude! I was kind of shocked.

The waitress asked her how many people were dining, and the lady is like, well, we need two tables. So the waitress is like okay. . . but, how many people will there be? And the lady goes, well only two of us are here now, but we need two tables. The girl asked one more time saying that she just needed to know a number and the lady says, WE COME HERE EVERY WEEK. WE NEED TWO TABLES.

Dude, is it really hard to say something like, oh there will be six of us. There will be eight. There will be seven. I mean come on, don’t be difficult.

Anyways, we ate and headed off to the beach! Perfect weather for it, seriously. We were there for about three hours but started feeling a bit burnt and decided to call it a day. We went for a swim, but the water was pretty cold so unfortunately we didn’t last long. Kind of makes me wish I was like, seven years old again when you never seemed to feel the coldness of the water.

There were crazy parents behind us, but I don’t want to get into that. I’ve seen so much poor parenting in the past month that I feel like I could write a book on it. I know I’m not exactly in the position to say because I’ve never had a kid of my own, but at the same time some things are just common sense.

So, after that we were having a craving for chips which we went and got and then trekked back to Kat’s house to clean up and change. From there we headed to my house, got some money out and met up with Jenn at Montana’s to celebrate her birthday which was August 13th.

It’s been so long since the three of us have been able to hang out! So we had a nice dinner (ate waayy too much) and went to Starbucks to talk some more. I started to feel kind of light headed and we were all pretty tired so we weren’t out very late, and I took Kat back home.

But here’s the story. See, you know the other day when I talked about how I got the gas out of my old car and put it into the red one? Well, a bit of gas spilt onto the gas can and into the plastic bag that the gas can was in. The can was in my trunk for about two days and my car REEKED like gas. I think spending all that time in the car today made the fumes get to me. I kid you not. I left my back windows down tonight in hopes that it might air out a little and since I have to work at eight, it’s not like they’ll be down all day or something.

I also learned that I got burnt. On my back and on the back of my legs. It’s… extremely uncomfortable. I put sun screen on my legs, so I have no idea why they’re burnt but I did miss my back. :/ It’s my own fault so I shouldn’t really complain and at least my face isn’t burnt.

But yes, it was a great day. I got home, updated S-T a bit and everything seems to be going smoothly.

Except for the person who decided to cheat in the contest. We called them out the first time and denyed it. We showed them proof and they admitted to it. Then they went right back to cheating. I mean seriously, the way Hideko and I watch the stats on our baby, do you really think we wouldn’t notice?

Oh, and P.S.

If you really were friends with ZOMG ALL THOSE BAND MEMBERS, then you probably wouldn’t be found posting about very publicly on your MySpace page.

Anyone with half a brain knows better than to do that. It’s one thing if it comes up in conversation or if you’re telling your close friends… but it’s something entirely different when you just feel like you can use it as a bragging right.

Especially when it’s not even true.

Seriously, stop being a lame ass and go lock yourself in your basement.

Not quite ding dong, but we’re getting there.

If you remember the entry a few days ago, where I was ecstatic because someone who deserve to get theirs, was finally coming close to getting it?

Well, there’s so much shit on her I can’t believe it. And she’s so full of shit, that I can’t believe it.

The people who are trying to do something about it (and I’m so glad they are) have made this forum, which outlines just some of the crazy ass stuff that she’s done: the link is really long so click here to go there.

So here’s my question.

She seems to constantly complain about not having money. She needs money for surgery and money for food. Money for rent. Money for her dying father and sick sister.

If that’s the case, why are you dragging you fugly ass online every day (or at least often enough to make an impression on people) then? The internet costs money. Computers, cost money. Sell your computer, cancel your internet (or stop going to an internet cafe and wasting your money there) and get a real job to help yourself and your family.

She’s just a scammer, and therefore none of what she’s saying is true, so that’s not going to happen. And maybe this sounds mean, but I have no sympathy for people who try to mooch off of others when they could just as easily get off their ass and do something about it themselves.

I think that in general, I’m an understanding person and I try to be nice to people and give them the benefit of the doubt. I generally don’t actually wish harm on anyone because I don’t think that cool. Even though there are some people who have hurt me directly, I still don’t wish anything bad on them.

But this girl… she’s just ridiculous scum and I would love to see her rot in hell. I have no idea why I feel so strongly about it, but I do. So, if anyone knows anything let’s help the people who are putting this together out.

How can you hurt so many people and feel okay about it? I don’t understand people who think like that. It’s not okay to hurt people, to steal from them, to scam them… It’s not a hard concept to understand, so why are so many people unable to comprehend it?

The only reassuring thoughts that you can have about people like that, are that some day karma will catch up with them and beat their ass. Rightfully so.

I can’t believe people can be this pathetic and stoop this low. When we posted about it on S-T, I was actually surprised at the number of people who replied saying that they’ve been hurt by her. I’m glad that she can’t run and hide forever.

I forgot to add, that the people who are in charge of it e-mailed us to thank us for posting it on S-T! Which makes me really glad that we did. Spread the word~ε=ε= (ノ ̄▽ ̄)ノ
